The Pilgrimage: The Unexpected

I’ll bet you thought I was never going to blog again.

I’ll bet you thought I was back.

Or you’re just used to my blogging fickleness, so that whenever I post something, you think, “She’ll be gone again.” And whenever I stop, you think, “She’ll be back.”

Or you just haven’t noticed.

Anyway, pretty immediately after my last three posts, there was a turn of events that both fulfilled and altered the non-profit-starting trajectory I was on. There are many tales I could tell you about all this, and I feel like I intend to, but I’m not making any promises. For now, see here the newsletter I have sent to many of my friends, relations, and acquaintances. Consider yourself a recipient, too!

If you are intrigued and would like to receive more of these missives (or even join me on this new Pilgrimage), please visit my new website and sign yourself up!

In a nutshell (emphasis on the ‘nut’). This is the way I think that all blogs that have any longevity at all* will go.

PS I’d say ‘good to see you back’ if it weren’t a non sequitur 🙂

    * other than those that have somehow cracked the ‘persuade folks to pay for something they can get for free’ conundrum

              • Ah! I understand the misunderstanding now. I had intended the impersonal pronoun to point in your direction, not mine*. I was trying to respond to your existence with enthusiasm! 😀

To clarify: I was referring to the attribute you label as ‘blogging fickleness’ above (something that I don’t class as fickleness at all, hence my original comment).

To expound on the clarification: I’m so glad to find that you’re not the only nut on this crazy muxed-up planet.

                * … but I see now that it could point either way and make an equal volume of sense 🙂

                • Actually, you understand the more recent understanding… (I process slowly! Yet another reason I’ve not been blogging much.)

Originally, I thought, since we were joking about non sequiturs (wait–we were joking, right?) that you were throwing in a grand one. Then when I revisited this thread it occurred to me that I had asked you how you were doing, and your next comment was “it’s alive!” so perhaps that was the answer. 🙂
